Also known under the name of juuni Kokki Kokki or 12, this series tells the story of Yoko Nakajima, a Japanese student at his high school known for its high ratings. One day a man named Keiki appears before her and kneels at his feet Swear allegiance. Anime

Compared with the novels, the anime has some deterioration. Yoko appears in the anime as the protagonist of the story and who focus the various events taking place in the series. Yoko novels in just a over all the main characters and their story is told only 2 novels.
The anime focuses on the kingdom of Kei and its events. The rest of the kingdom's most prominent are Kou, In and Tai, while Kyou, Hou, Sai and Ryuu not seem to have great importance and the rest of the kingdoms only know the name and its kings. The anime also included Yuka Asano and Yoko to accompany The Twelve Kingdoms, which the original novels do not exist and appear to act out some problems that were internal Yoko in the novels.
The anime ended after 45 episodes, but will initially planned 68. Studio Pierrot decided to stop the release of episodes until the author threw them in writing.
